s1913_5 *********************** Bodice for dress "with Bulgarian sash", 1913 *********************** This pattern goes with s1913_4 to make a dress 40 & 40a main part 41 sleeve 42 half of collar Stick together parts 40 and 40a along "cut line" before cutting the fabric. E must meet E, F must meet F. Cut the main part as _one_ piece, with a bias fold in back. The arrow in part 40 of the overciew marks the straight of grain. The exact position and size of the dart in the sleeve must be determined on the person. Set sleeve under the bodice part. Now drape all of this onto the front-closing lining taille (pattern follows, or use generic lining taille from page http://www.marquise.de/schnitte/20jh/s1900.shtml). Gather lower edges of the bodice (the left one only up to the centre front) and stitch onto skirt (see pattern s1913_4). The right side is set onto the overlap of the skirt. Sew on the collar, made of two layers of silk. ------ Made for Manuela as part of the Pattern Exchange ------ brought to you by La Couturière Parisienne (webmistress @marquise.de) http://www.marquise.de Copyright 2001 by A.
